The more you know him, the more you realize that you do not know much about him. He is a painter, inventor, sculptor, thinker, designer and everything that encompasses the definition of an Artist.
As said earlier he is not just an artist, he is much more than you can ever imagine about him.Wajid Khan was born on 10 March, 1981, in a small village of Songari in the district of Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh (India). Wajid spent most of his childhood feeling inferior due to his low school grades. At the age of 14, he invented the world’s smallest Electric Iron. After this invention, he went on to invent a water theft device and a centralized touch-activated switch for household appliances. He also created a painting on canvas, which was apparently world’s first 3D painting.
Numerous people have admired and honored the incredible work of Wajid Khan under the name of Wajid Art. However, he feels the most close to his heart is the appreciation and encouragement he received from the former President of India Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. Khan has been fortunate to spend productive time with Dr. Kalam at National Innovation Foundation, a research and invention wing. Summing up seems just impossible while critically appreciating the creations of Wajid Khan. With over 140 inventions to his credit, Wajid Khan says “It’s just a beginning” and we, the people, remain awestruck and world awaits another astonishing creation or rather invention to come.
